Karen has over 30 years of experience in business, human resources management, and executive leadership in a variety of different industries. She is especially recognized in her ability to coach leaders in transition (including promotions) as well focusing high potential leaders toward the key areas that will assist them before moving into their next level.
She has worked with leaders across the United States, as well as in Europe and Asia, adapting to different cultures and challenges in doing so. Her solid blend of listening, asking powerful questions, and offering a practical approach to pushing leaders to new awareness and skills has brought significant results to the organizations where she has worked.
Karen’s business experience includes management and human resources in both large and small, public and private companies. Originally from Minnesota, Karen attended the University of Wisconsin where she received her degree in Business Management. She started her career in retail management in Chicago, and then moved into human resources and executive leadership roles. Her industry experience expands into Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Financial Services, and Technology Services. Karen has also lived in Houston and the San Francisco Bay Area.
